Financial Information
At Newbury Dental, we accept most major insurance providers. Please contact us if you would like to confirm that we accept your benefits plan. Payment is due at the time of services rendered.
As a courtesy, Newbury Dental will submit insurance claims to your insurance provider on your behalf and attempt to answer any questions we can about your insurance. However, insurance policies are highly variable, therefore it is up to you to know and understand your own benefits plan. Dental predeterminations are only estimates and are not guaranteed payment. Please note that if your benefits result in lower coverage than expected, you will be solely responsible for any outstanding balance. If the event occurs that your insurance company has not paid (on your behalf), you will be responsible to contact them directly to resolve the issue.
In order to serve all of our patients to the best of our abilities, we require a $75/hr deposit for any major treatment. Please know that this is a deposit to hold the appointment and will go towards your treatment costs provided you attend your appointment at its designated time.
We accept cash, cheque, any major credit cards, and e-transfer.
Patients without Insurance
For patients without insurance, you will be responsible for full payment on the day of treatment. You will be given an estimate prior to any treatment being completed. At Newbury Dental, we understand that dental costs can be intimidating, so for patients who require extensive treatment, payment plans can be arranged with our treatment coordinator. We are also happy to offer LendCare as a financing option for your dental treatment. LendCare offers instant approvals, affordable monthly payments, and can be interest-free. For more information about dental financing with LendCare or any other payment options, please give us a call and speak to our friendly team member!
Cancellation/No-Show Policy
We understand that life happens and there will be changes required to your scheduled appointment. In order to provide all of our patients with quality and timely care, our office requests 48 hours/2 business days’ notice to change or cancel your appointment so we are able to serve all of our patients to the best of our abilities. Please be aware of our current office business hours.
Our office reserves the right to charge a $75.00 fee per hour, for those not giving adequate advance notice.

Thus the reason why my family entrusted her with our dental health for several years now. Dr. Lee is smart, meticulous, takes pride in her work, and genuinely cares for her patients. We're so happy that Dr. Lee remains in the city, because it'd be difficult to find another dentist like her. She's truly one-of-a-kind! This is my first visit with the new dental clinic. I have seen both dentists in other clinics in which they worked in the past. This clinic is bright, spacious, clean and makes one comfortable.Dr. Ngai and staff are very nice and friendly. They explained the procedures well prior to performing them. Dr. Ngai is experienced, professional, and thorough in examining my teeth condition, and provided options for my teeth problems. I am very satisfied with the service provided. My second visit was to have fillings and Dr. Ngai did them efficiently and again, he explained well of the fillings prior to doing the procedures.
Amazing! Dr. Lee is so helpful, gentle and knowledgeable. It was our daughter’s first visit to the dentist and she can be anxious about new things. Dr. Lee was so good about showing her everything and explaining all the tools. Everyone was kind and accommodating. Emelie at reception was very friendly upon welcoming me when checking-in and after my appointment was done. Kiersten the Dental Assistant was delightful, super professional and kept making sure that I was OK and comfortable throughout; she walked me through every step of what we were doing. Dr. Ngai was fantastic! He was very genuine, informative and thorough. He made sure he took the time to answer any questions and concerns that I might have had and walked me through what I needed for my next visit. Overall I was blown away by the customer service, friendliness, professionalism and how extremely welcoming and accommodating the team at Newbury Dental was to me.
